Kulin Brain Cancer Awareness Round
Story
Hi there!
Our little community of Kulin sits 300km from Perth and we love helping out others in our community.
A local farming family got the sudden news last harvest (Dec 2020) that Teneille had a brain tumour- Anaplastic Astrocytoma grade 3.
What followed was surgery and 6 1/2 weeks of intense radiation therapy with treatment on-going in Perth. Her partner Lachy and family have held the fort back on the farm and their 1-year-old son Caleb has been overseeing everyone ( Boss in the making!)
On the 26th June we are holding a Brain Cancer Awareness round to raise funds for Brain Cancer Research.
Our local Football- Kulin Kondinin Blues, Kulin Netball Club and KKVipers Hockey Club are all playing a home game in Kulin. All money raised in the lead up and on the day will go directly to the Mark Hughes Foundation to help fund research.
Buy a beanie and wear it on the day, buy a raffle ticket and come along and support Teneille, Lachy and family.

Mark Hughes Foundation
The Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) is a charity formed in Newcastle by Mark and Kirralee Hughes following Mark’s diagnosis with Brain Cancer in 2013. The Mark Hughes Foundation’s mission is to raise much needed funds for research, to create awareness and support brain cancer patients and their families.
